Opportunity Product to Assets Converter is a great application. Very easy to use. Saves us lots of time. Literally with couple of clicks and custom fields we get all the product related information on the Assets page Layout. Great support too.

App does what it says, is customizable, and provides key functionality missing from SFDC.

While this should have been built into SFDC (the ability for purchases - Products on Opportunities - to be tracked in Assets), we had to look elsewhere for this. Luckily there are providers for this, and this product does as it says. It was a straightforward install, even though I'm non-technical. I installed it in both the sandbox and in production without a problem.

It addresses the needs of moving both multiple product quantities as one line item, or multiple line items, which was key for us. There is also a mechanism to ensure you don't move products over twice.

We have additional fields that we need to move, and the code is customizable so we're able to modify it ourselves, or I can also contact Comity to have them make some changes.

Overall I'm very pleased, especially because I simply don't have the technical expertise to implement even minor VisualForce code to enhance SFDC.

Great app and great customer support response.
You can customize it with very little knowledge of Visualforce. It helps lots when converting Opportunity Products into assets. It is a MUST HAVE if you use assets at your org.






OLD REVIEW.It's a killer app. It does almost exactly what we needed and its much better than the old app posted by the Salesforce Team but it can't be edited nor customized so... it's very complicated that it fits your needs.

Please make this application unmanaged so that we can use it. We would also pay for an app like this but... it's free and uneditable.
