  Custom Reports - One Parent, Multiple Children

  
  
  Sometimes when reporting, we'd like to be able to report on a parent object and multiple child objects, rather than straight down the parent-child-grandchild chain. In our company, child contracts are produced from parents opportunities. Our finance team want to be able to look at the contracts and the Opportunity Products in the same report to allow them to work out what products are being sold for each contract we produce. Could this not be a possibility or is there a way to link all three objects together to allow for combined reporting?

  Custom Report Types Delivered (Archive)

  Can we create/manage custom report types that mix and match data from a variety of fields and objects? For example, an Account report that auto adds all opportunity amounts, or a report on Campaign Source field within Opportunities.

  Report on multiple related lists at the same time

  Users need to be able to report on multiple related lists at the same time, for instance Contacts and their cases and their opportunities. Cases and Opportunities aren't linked, so the only link is through the contact.

  Custom Report Types Enhancement

  I believe this is a very good feature. However, I think it would be better if we are allowed to report on any Objects we want. Currently, we can report on 4 Objects but these objects have to be related in one way or the other. Would it be possible to have the following type of relationship: Report from: 1. Object A->B->C 2. Object A<->C->B 3. Be able to choose specific common fields within objects e.g I want to run a report which shows me Account, Contacts and Opportunities. Account links Contacts and Opportunities but when you try to select the objects it will not allow us or show us Contact results. We've tried every possible way. If anyone have any suggestions please let me know.

  A true Opportunities with Sales Teams and Products report

  
  
  I would like to be able to run a report that shows which products are being sold by one of my sales teams. I can't do that with the current "Opportunities with Sales Teams and Products" report. The current report forces me to filter by either 1 Sales Team member or 1 product. Please remove those filters and let me run a report on my sales teams not individual sales team members.
